First, you need to confirm the style of bike youd like and it's purpose. So we recommend you to visit our branch to browse our bike selection. Our staff will assist you for the one you are interested in. Please feel free to contact us. We also provide a bike customization service on request. Please bring us a sample (magazine clipping) of your customization idea.

Is customization easy for beginners? |
|
|
|
We recommend domestic bike with an engine size of 400CC and below to beginners. It is much safer to select imported, custom or large-size bikes when you are accustomed to drive at some level.

What is the cost for updating my vehicle inspection certificate? |
|
|
|
The cost will be less than ￥70,000 including automobile liability insurance, weight tax and official fees under the condition that spare parts are not required. Please note that the cost will differ by the actual inspected condition. |

How can I sign up for insurance? |
|
|
|
Please bring all necessary documents: (inspection certificate, light vehicle notification and registration card) and your personal seal to our branch. We can help you sign up for insurance on site.
※Please note that insurance fee differ by age and the condition of your bike.
※You can select either full or installment payments for insurance fees.
(Please submit bank account details for your passbook if you request installment payments.) |

Can I purchase the bike with a credit card? |

TECHNOSPORTS are cooperating with domestic credit companies including ORICO card (Orient Corporation), QUOQ, JACCS, Central Finance, NICOS and Rakuten KC. All branches accept those cards.

Is there a guarantee on second-hand bikes? |
|
|
|
TECHNOSPORTS offers a three-month special guarantee and a one-month general guarantee service from delivery date of all bikes (except racing and certain types).
If there is any failure in your bike after purchase/delivery from us, we offer free inspection, repair and replacement service during second-hand bike guarantee period. |

What are the basics for maintenance? |
|
|
|
Some parts like tire pressure, brakes, winkers, chain and feeding gasoline/oil are easy for beginners to work on.
※Please ask our maintenance staff any questions about appropriate procedure.
Here are some maintenance jobs you can do by yourself:
■Check electric parts including light, brake lamp and winker (daily).
■Check chain/brake (daily).
■Check tire pressure/flat tire (daily).
■Oil change（when mileage is around 3000km/every 3 months.）
■Check air cleaner（once when mileage is around 5000km） |

Is customization easy for beginners? |
|
|
|
Some parts are difficult for beginners to customize. We recommend you to ask a bike speciality shop for customization in order to avoid trouble. Please feel free to contact us for our customization service.
Difficult parts for customization:
Body parts remodeling/replacement (including handle, swing arm, step, tank, sheet)
Electric parts remodeling/replacement (including winker, light, CPU, wire harness)
Inlet parts remodeling/replacement (including air cleaner, caburetor)
Emission parts remodeling/replacement (including muffler, EX manifold)
※When the current blows back or shorts out by wrong wiring during remodelling, it may often require replacement of CPU and main harness.
※Wrong electric/inlet parts remodeling may cause engine destruction.
※Bikes with remodeled electric/inlet parts may change riding area.
※We do not have remodeling service which is not legally permitted. |
